Adelphoi Village’s ACE/MST Named Program of the Year

The Pennsylvania Juvenile Court Judges Commission (JCJC) has named Adelphoi Village’s ACE/MST Continuum of Care as “Residential Program of the Year” for 2007.  This is the third year in a row that Adelphoi Village was recognized by the agency for its outstanding programs for youth in the juvenile justice system.

ACE/MST Continuum of Care combines a short –term residential treatment program with and in-home multisystemic therapy program.  This pilot program has provided exceedingly positive outcomes within a cost-effective model for youth that require a residential placement. ACE/MST Continuum of Care provides the benefits of a long-term residential placement without the lengthy stay by offering intensive in-home support to the youth and family once the residential placement ends. The goal of this program is to improve functioning within the family, community, and school and achieve these objectives at cost savings by reducing the frequency and length of out-of-home placements.

Adelphoi Village’s Middle Creek Female Secure Program was named JCJC “Residential Program of the Year” in 2005 and the Blair MST Program was named “Community Based Program of the Year” in 2006.  Adelphoi is the only child care agency to be recognized by JCJC three consecutive years.

Adelphoi Village is a service of Adelphoi USA, a not-for-profit human services agency that assists children and families from 40 counties throughout Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland and New York.
