Adelphoi Village is a licensed adoption agency and is pleased to be affiliated with SWAN, the State Wide Adoption Network. SWAN assists in enhancing adoption services on behalf of children in custody in Pennsylvania. Working with SWAN allows Adelphoi Village to register its foster/adopt parents through the Pennsylvania Adoption Exchange (PAE). Once registered, Adelphoi Village foster parents have the opportunity to seek information on adoptable children. In situations where biological parents fail to follow through with recommended treatment services, and parental rights are terminated, Adelphoi Village foster families become a resource for adoption. Through its affiliation with SWAN, Adelphoi Village can provide parent and child profiles in an effort to assist youth in obtaining permanent families who will give them the love and attention they need. Adelphoi Village also assists youth in their preparation for adoption. Other services include Post Permanency Services for youth and families (assessment, case advocacy and respite), Child Specific Recruitment, Child Preparation Services, and Child and Family Youth Profiles.
