Kinship Care allows family members of children in placement to become foster families to those children. Adelphoi Village offers two Kinship Care Services: Home Safety/Caretaker Assessment Study and Formal Kinship Placement Services. Home Safety/Caretaker Assessment Study is an inspection of the potential caregiver's home and an assessment of the ability of the caregiver. Formal Kinship Placement Services are provided based upon the needs of the youth, the biological family and the resources of the kinship caregiver.
