ADELPHOI GRADUATES FIVE
Robert Ketterer Charter School recognized five new graduates at its graduation ceremony held January 13.
ADELPHOI YOUTH ENJOY CONCERT
On December 15th, nearly two hundred Adelphoi residents, staff and guests gathered for a Christmas concert held on campus at the Scalise Family Recreation Center. The evening offered residents a voluntary opportunity to begin their Christmas season with a positive and fun celebration that also imparted a meaningful message. Performers “Righteous B”, Kelly Pease and Joey Lombardi offered a hip hop and pop-oriented performance that was well-received and had many highlights, including sing-alongs, dance contests and personal testimony. The evening culminated with a moving procession by Benedictine monks from Saint Vincent Archabbey, followed by a presentation of the biblical Christmas narrative and an address by founder Fr. Paschal Morlino. The event was coordinated by Josh Karabinos, Spiritual Development Coordinator, and the Spiritual Advisory Group.
SUMMER OLYMPICS
Over 200 youth from Adelphoi Village participated in Summer Olympics, held at Latrobe Memorial Stadium. Youth from foster care and various residential units spent the day competing in sprints, long jumps, baseball toss and baton races. Youth celebrated with a picnic and awards ceremony after the event.
