The Elementary School Programs offer an alternative education and therapeutic setting for young students charged with truancy, incorrigibility, or disruptive behavior in a traditional school environment, as well as students who have been diagnosed with a mental illness. Youth are referred directly from local school districts or can be referred by the county Juvenile Probation Department.
The Elementary School Programs offer a small classroom environment, with individualized attention to the students. Classrooms may hold up to 10 students, and include a caseworker, PA certified special education teacher, therapist and supervisor.
